Can You Hear Me Now??

We got this in the mail and I wanted to share it with you. Rings a bell? grin.

CELL PHONE vs. BIBLE
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell-phone?

-What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
-What if we flipped through it several time a day?
-What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
-What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
-What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
-What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
-What if we used it when we traveled?
-What if we used it in case of emergency?
-This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing... unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected, because Jesus already paid the bill.
And no dropped calls! Plus... unlimited free minutes for life!

Makes you stop and think "where are my priorities"? Let's call Jesus now! :-)

Philippians 3:14
I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Morning Corry,

This is a very real perception of our Bible ? If we could get these thoughts embedded in our mind , how much better off the world would be !

I call on Him every morning as Tweety would say " Lord I'm just waking up and I didn't have any bad dreams and I hadn't said any bad things about anybody , stole anything from anyone , hurt anybody's feelings , But I need you to help me thru the day ?

Blessings.
Ron.

Hey, Corry, thanks for stopping by my place! Job stuff is status quo ever since they decided to keep me in June. Well, not really, as they split our team in two, and it's really lonely! But I've still got the paychecks coming in, and I'm still only going in to the office 3 days a week, so it could be much worse!

Grandpaw,
Just like you said: the world would be so much better off!

I call on Him from the time I wake up, till I go to sleep. Some days not as much as I should and I try to remind myself to do so. The more I do, the better my day is/goes. That in itself says enough right there! :-D

Have a very blessed day!!

Vicky,
So good to see you! Even though I haven't commented, I have been keeping up with your blog.

I too thought this was good and so true! I liked the unlimited free minutes-part. He is always there for us! :-)

God bless you, sister.

Sarah,
You are most welcome and I so agree with you... it's so true. Unfortunately!

Many blessings to you today, lil sister.

Lenise,
I am grateful to hear you still got your job. God gives what's needed. :-)

I can understand it's lonely, but you can talk to God whenever you like. No dropped calls! :-D
God bless you, girl.

Pia,
I liked that too and guess what?! We have it!! :-D
Have a very blessed day, girl.

God's Grace.
