Termites

One of the insects the Dutch don't have to worry about is termites; they are not native to The Netherlands. I therefore had to get used to the fact that our home can be devastated by these creatures.

I am not in favor of using liquid pesticides, since we have a dog roaming the yard and running around the house. The use of termite bait systems is much more appealing and more effective as well.

We like to live in our house for years to come, instead of serving it up as a feast to termites!
