Lesson Learned

How time flies; even though it has only been a few years since our youngest was attending school, it already seems like ages ago. One of the things I remember about that time is the constant battle of imposing on her the importance of taking care and keeping track of her eyeglasses.

That was of no avail though; she kept on loosing them, one after another. It did not seem to matter to her, but it certainly did to us. Over the course of a couple of years we bought her at least three new pair of glasses. Those were not cheap: around a $150 a pop. Where they ended up at? We had no clue and neither did she, but each pair was a huge dent in our wallet.

I wish we had known about Zenni Optical at that time; it could have saved us so much money. We could have picked out several trendy pair of glasses online, fill out the prescription information and have them shipped directly to our home.

She probably would have liked this pair of eyeglasses and the costs of each pair are so ridiculously low, it would not have mattered at all whether she would have been careful with them or not.

Oh well, another lesson learned. I will keep it in mind for when I have to replace my own eyeglasses.

HaHa! Sounds like me, Lieve Zus. I always look for my pair of spectacles around the house. Sometimes it was just hanging on my collar!
