Chlorella Benefits

I had not heard of Chlorella before and was pleasantly surprised reading up on all the health benefits and qualities this fresh water alga has to offer. Chlorella is used for supplements and medications and usually comes in the form of tablets or liquid extract where the first is concerned. It provides proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, chlorophyll, vitamins, amino acids, peptides, and minerals.

There are many conditions where the chlorella benefits could be put to good use and help out such as preventing cancer and colds, decreasing the side effects of radiation therapy, boosting the immune system and white blood cell counts, improving digestion, treat ulcers, colitis and Crohn's disease, and reducing tension, stress, asthma attacks, and cholesterol levels.

It is also an excellent supplement to protect against and get rid of all kinds of toxins and heavy metals that may have accumulated in your body over time. Some of the symptoms of excessive toxins are fatigue, low stamina and a longer time needed to recuperate after exercise or exertion, feeling stressed and/or out of balance, and getting sick more then usual.

If you experience some of the signs mentioned above, it may be a good idea to supplement with Chlorella and, just like with any other supplement you intend to take, don't forget to consult your doctor first!
