So Blessed!

Looking at the coffee-table,
I can't help but smile.
Two little hand prints caught my eye,
I think I'll let them stay a while.

They are a silent reminder,
And yet, it's like they shout:
"Time flies by, he grows up fast!"
Is what they are pointing out.

Even just the thought of you,
Fills our hearts with love and joy.
There's no measurement for our gratitude,
To God, for this little boy.

Those little hand prints.....
Yeah, they will stay a while! :-)

Philippians 1:3
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

Evening Corry,

When I go to walmart once a month to buy my groceries I just admire the little ones ! When a young couple at church is blessed with a little one I already know I will get to help spoil them a little bit when they get older !

I might be out of line with my feelings, but I would just like to take some of the parents out behind the barn ?

Enough > Anyway that's a good poem did you write it ?

Blessings.
Ron.

What wonderful thoughts! Thanks for sharing this poem. Oh, how we should stop and admire all that God has given us in children--handprints included!

Grandpaw,
I do know and understand what you mean and I sympathise!

Yeah, I wrote that little poem and yes, those little prints are still on the coffee-table. I even hope to get a picture of them as soon as we have batteries for the camera! :-)

Have a great and blessed day!

Christy,
I suspect being an Oma has changed my perspective on things. I know I would prolly have been annoyed with my own children for messed they would make. Now, I am just so thankful and happy our grandbaby, and us, get to enjoy sharing time together. And those little messes.... they are so insignificant! :-)

Blessings to y'all!

Janice,
All is well, thanks! We hope with you as well!

Oh, I knew! I got my sources, hehe.

(((HUGS))) and have a wonderful and blessed weekend as well.

God's Grace.

I've been by and read your lovely poem several times, Corry, but am just now commenting. I hope you are doing well.

Having so many grandkids myself (10!), I know about the small hand prints! Good poem you wrote, and so true!

Much love to you all today!

Dee,
Thanks, girl. You are so blessed as well! :-)
I just get a little sentimental thinking about how fast those little handprints get bigger.

Good to see you. We hope all is well with you too.:-)

Love and blessings to you. Have a great day.

Corry, how did I miss this? What a blessing those little handprints are. Some ask me why I don't wash them off more. I love the handprints on the lower panes of the window. May you have many!

Missy,
I totally understand not wanting to wash them off. Good excuse too not to have to wash the windows, hehe.
We anticipate to find many more little handprints in our home shortly. :-)
