Saving Your Skin

The weather is already warming up in our neck of the woods and before long the sun will raise the temperatures to where you can't stand it for more then 10 minutes. That is not necessarily a bad thing, since it prevents ending up with sunburn which will occur in no time, unless you use a good sunscreen to protect your skin from the UVA/UVB rays.

There are a lot of sunscreen products on the market, but my tendency is to lean towards those containing all natural ingredients, are non-greasy, don't wear off so easily, and can even be applied on wet skin. I also like the idea of a sunscreen spray, because it is so much easier to apply, but I sure don't want to pay an arm and a leg for all those features.

Products from Aveeno fit the bill perfectly and with the coupons and specials from aveeno they can be purchased for even less then their already more then affordable prices. Besides sunscreen, they have a wide range of other skin care products which you may not be aware of, but are more then worth your time checking into.

Summer is also the season where running into poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumac, is most likely to occur. The terrible itching which is a result of these encounters can temporarily be relieved by the topical application of an anti-itch lotion for which coupons and specials from aveeno might be available as well.

In addition, this lotion helps with other mild skin irritations like rashes, eczema, and insect bites, but you can also choose to use the coupons and specials from aveeno for the skin relief bath treatment which eases the itch caused by the already mentioned occurrences, including the itch where chicken pox and hives are concerned.

In case you don't need any of these at the moment, there are always the renowned body, facial, hair, stress relieving, and baby care products Aveeno is so famous for. You can even find a skin care advisor on their site with topics and remedies pertaining to all kinds of skin related ailments.

I don't think the founders and inventors of Aveeno, Albert and Sidney Musher, had expected that their first product, which came in existence in partnership with the Mayo Clinic and was introduced in 1945, would lead to many more clinically proven to benefit, skin-improving and healing formulas and would be trusted and recommended by dermatologists and pediatricians.

I am grateful to them, because it is nice knowing we can rely on their products to save our skin!

Audrey,
I do too. I rather be cold. I guess I have reached that age where I prefer it, haha.

God's Grace.
