Simple Home Remedies Part 2

You may be planning to head out, explore and spend some time in a different, new place and although you take several medications with you, you are bound to either forget something, or run into a situation where you could use a quick and simple solution without having to go the distance of buying it.

Bug bites are likely to occur and when you spend time in the outdoors you can have a very unpleasant encounter with poisoned ivy. You can diminish the itch by putting the inside of a banana peel on it. The peel possesses anti-inflammatory and microbial qualities which relief skin inflammations and acne by gently rubbing the inside of it over the cleansed area.

Not everyone is up for a drive or a boat ride due to motion sickness. Ginger is an excellent remedy to battle any kind of nausea and can be taken anyway you like; as tea, syrup, capsules, ginger ale, or even in the form of cookies with have ginger as an ingredient.

I hate headaches; they are very debilitating and usually occur when you least need them. Most headaches are a result of tension and stress and when you pay attention to those situations you will notice how you are unaware of the fact that you clench your jaws and grit your teeth.

This is usually the onset to a headache and that can be prevented by placing a pen or pencil between the teeth and keeping it there for a while. You are not supposed to bite down on it, but just the fact that you have something between your teeth will relax the jaws and diminish the tension. It can even decrease the pain which you already experience from a headache.

Whether you go on vacation, or stay home; it doesn't really make much of a difference, because each day is a journey and presents us with many decisions and routes to go. Choosing which road is best to take is not an easy task, but God is always there to guide and lead us!

Nehemiah 9:12
Moreover You led them by day with a cloudy pillar, And by night with a pillar of fire, To give them light on the road Which they should travel.
