Critter's Cooings Part V

Peek-A-Boo!!! grin.

Yeah, I love that game. Whenever I come over, Oma carries me to the office and right in front of the door we stop. I already know Opa is in there, so I try to look, but Oma tells me to wait. So we wait a few seconds and then ... Peek-a-boo, OPA! I always get the biggest smile on my face, seeing how surprised Opa looks, hehe.

Did ya know I have already 5 teeth? Yup, 3 up and 2 down. Handy little things! I can eat practically anything. Actually I eat anything anytime, haha. I can eat all day long, they won't let me, sigh. Not fair, I have to keep my chunkies chunky, right?!

Oh I gotta tell ya, I have the coolest shoes. They look almost the same like Opa's tennis-shoes. They are a size 4. Don't raise your eyebrows, big feet keep me stable! grin. Speaking of which, I stood by myself for about 5 seconds. I was so busy and didn't even notice I was standing up without supporting myself. I suppose that will get even better over time.

Since I am pulling up on anything, everything and everyone, I get myself in mischief too, sigh. I am not allowed to touch everything. Even Opa and Oma tell me "No, Sir", several times. When they do, they look at me with a stern face and I.... just give em a big grin. I can tell they are having a difficult time not to smile, hehe. However, I am not getting what I am reaching for. Oma has this nasty habit of redirecting me somewhere else, after telling me "no" a couple of times. But I help her in the kitchen! She was loading the dishwasher and I helped. At least I like to think so. She let me play with the whisk I took out. :-D

Opa still "loves that little boy" and calls me his little man. Even when I try to pull his goatee out and Oma is as silly as ever. I was eating oatmeal the other day and there was the Barny-song on tv. Oma started swinging her hands from one side to another on the music and was grinning at me. It looked so funny, I couldn't help but grin back. As a result, all the oatmeal dribbled out of my mouth. Mom was not so happy with that. Oma laughed when she saw it. Since I wasn't really into the oatmeal that much, each time I got a spoonful in my mouth, I looked at Oma and grinned. That took care of the oatmeal pretty quick, haha.

I hope y'all had a great and blessed Thanksgiving. I did. I got to eat turkey and stuffing and cranberry-sauce, peas and pies. Yummy. I liked it all.

And here is the latest scoop: I say mama and dadda! Of course I babble a whole lot more, but they don't understand me, yet! Even though I can't always say the words, they do seem to understand at times what I mean. Isn't it great that God understands everything, even when we don't have or can't find the words?! :-)

Gotta go now, it's nap time. That's what they say when I start rubbing my eyes and get cranky. Not that I want to nap, but gravity is a strange thing. It sure pulls my eyelids down. hehe. Talk to y'all soon. :-D

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

lil' Casey, You are getting cuter every day. I know Oma and Opa can't get enough sugar to last them between visits. I love the oatmeal trick. I would try it myself, but other adults tend to frown upon that. :) It is great to see more pics of you. Blessings!

Cute pictures and cute write up. Thanks for the glimpses of the joys of grandchildren. Tom and I have 13 of them together and 10 of them are mine!

The joys of being grandparents are unending.

Thanks for sharing with us!

Much love,

Mrs. Amy,
They love the sugar, but I am stingy in giving it, haha. When Oma asks for a kiss, I just give her a huge grin. She kisses me anyway! Girlie-stuff, yuck. :-D

Just try the oatmeal-trick, they may find it hilarious and you don't have to eat your oatmeal! grin.
I am sure Opa and Oma will post many more pics of me. They better because I am growing fast!

Blessings to y'all as well.

Mrs. Missy,
Thank you so much for all those wishes. I am sure I can come up with some if I tried. For now, as long as I got my bottle, food and toys, I am a happy camper. Hmmm... if they only let me touch everything. hehe.

Oma says "Hi" to y'all. :-)

Hey-Hey-Hey-Lit"lKC,

Sorry about tuning in a day late , and thanks for the thanksgiving well wishes. Every day now I'm still having them Trytophan siezures , probably get rid of them in about two weeks and jump back on me Christmas Day ?

Just keep up the good exercising and before you know it Oma want be able to catch you ? Then you can sneak back in the rooms and examine all the things that are a no-no!

When you try to slip up on Opa in his office get Oma to put you down and then sneak up behind Opa and pinch him on the back of his leg ,That will get his attention ?

BTW- I didn't see turnip green soup with Mississippi sweet potaters on the menu ? You have to be careful cause if Oma don't like them she want cook them ? Next time you get to slip off I'll cook you some !

If Opa and Oma get to strict with some of them bad frowns and get you upset, just remind them " A smile is the magic language that even a baby understands " ! Tell'em that them bad frowns ain't on your menu ?

I know about getting cranky when I don't get my afternoon nap . I guess I'm just starting on my second childhood cause I have to have a nap too !

I guess I'll have to start eating more oatmeal and cherrios cause my Doc said I have high cholestral . I told him that it was to early for Christmas presents ?

Blessings little buddy and if I don't hear from you before Christmas I wish you be blessed with much love and toys .

Grandpaw.

Mrs. Angela,
Awww... thank you! :-D
I have to admit...I SURE AM CUTE!! hehe.

Uh oh, Oma says I am becoming a lil' dude with an attitude. grin.

Blessings to y'all as well.

Grandpaw Ron!!!!!!!
So good to see you and you just drop in whenever it's convenient. I had wanted to talk on here sooner, but growing up is quite time-consuming.

Speaking of which, Oma says she ain't gonna make turnip soup because hardly anyone here cares for turnips. Both Opa and Oma say I can always come over to you and try it. The sweet potato casserole was on the menu, but Opa kinda talked Oma out of it, because we already had so much to eat. Oma will make it with Christmas though. She thinks I will love it.:-)

I would like to sneak up on Opa, but he will notice me come in, since he is facing the door. I almost jump on him when Oma is holding me and sitting behind Opa. You are right, that gets his attention, hehe.
I don't know about Oma not being able to catch me. She is meaner than a snake, as the expression goes. grin. But I won't know if I don't try, huh. hehe.

You better take care of that Cholestesomething! You can have my oatmeal and I will share my cheerios with you too. I will bring a bag over when I come to taste turnip soup.

I hope to be here before Christmas. Aunt Amber has got my Thanksgiving pics on her cellphone and I was gonna put them on here.

Thanks for the blessings! Never can get enough love, and toys... there are more???? :-D

Have a very blessed day, Grandpaw!

Happy belated Thanksgiving to you all! I hope preparations for Leo are coming along. It's not TOO hard when you've just been through it once. I'm not sure about three in a row, though... I guess we'll find out soon enough!

Yeah, you are getting pretty close too, huh. Are you doing allright?

Those two little rascals of yours are getting cuter by the day! Although I may not always comment, I do keep up with you, hehe.

I will remember you in my prayers.

Lil' Casey is not sure whether we are having fun with him, or he with us, haha.
I guess a little bit of both. :-)

We both are so blessed, aren't we! :-D

Audrey,
The fun only starts when you get here, haha.

Yeah, he is strong, overall! He is standing up on his own until he realizes he is not holding on to anything. That still makes him a insecure and he sits down. It won't be long though before he may walk.

Merry Christmas to y'all as well.

(((HUGS))) Lieve Zus.

God's Grace.
