Over The Counter Cancer Prevention

I think that most of us already were aware of the fact that taking what is called a baby aspirin (81 mg) prevents heart attacks, strokes, and blood cloths.

According to studies and researches, it also has been proven that taking a daily dose of 75 mg of aspirin for healthy people over 40, until the age of 70 to 75 when the risk of the aspirin causing stomach bleeding rises, reduces the risk of developing many types of cancer.

It so turns out that in the long run for people who took a low daily dose of aspirin the risk of death was decreased by almost 10% concerning prostate cancer, 30% for lung cancer, 40% for colorectal or bowel cancer, and 60% for esophageal cancer.

Taking aspirin on a daily basis, even though the amount may be small, does not come without other health risks though; it causes stomach bleeding in one in every thousand of the persons taking it daily.

Although that is a risk which should not be overlooked, it seems to outweigh the risk of developing a lethal form of cancer. If you think it is a regiment you would like to start, talk it over with your physician before doing anything.

We all are almost constantly confronted with having to make decisions. Some are easy, but many are difficult and need to be thought through and considered thoroughly. We may not know what to do, but God does. Let's lay it at His feet and ask Him for wisdom, counsel and guidance, before doing anything!

James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

I think you must discuss with your physician before staring on the drug. There is a point in saying it could be a long time remedy to cancer but there are also improved medicines for cancer itself.
