Pressing Matters Take Time
For those of you who weren't aware of it yet; we are expecting another grandbaby in January. We already know it will be a girl and are looking forward to welcoming it into this world.
The soon-to-be mom has already taken up residency at our house several months ago, due to financial woes, and she and the baby will be staying here for the time being. She eventually will venture out on her own again when she is back on her feet.
Having a little one around will bring a lot of changes and requires adjustments from everyone in both life and routine. I am not worried about all that; God gives what is needed and we just take it as it comes. We 'go with the flow' so to speak and deal with the need as it arises. That has been proven to work.
Another thing we learned is not to immediately react to a situation. More often then not it has been shown that when presented with a problem, taking the time to think and pray about it is best. The problem either solves itself, or God opens doors to a better solution or compromise that suits everyone.
Taking the time may not always be wanted and we may be pressured from all sides to spring into action. It is often fear that is the driving factor; if we don't act right away, things may get out of hand or end up being more complicated.
The contrary is true; acting on fear will make our fears come true. Acting on and in love, hope, and faith will yield the desired results and God is always there to lead and guide us, no matter what situation we are in!
2 Timothy 3:16-17
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
