Financial Assistance For Medications
The costs of healthcare are constantly rising and you may be in need of medication which is simply no longer affordable. The monthly costs and co-pays may exceed your budget, or your medications may no longer be covered. That doesn't mean you have to go without.
I would strongly advise you to check the website or contact the pharmaceutical company that manufactures your medication. It is my experience that many offer financial assistance to patients using their medications through what is either called a patient assistance, or a protection plan.
Websites and contact information can often be found on the package the drugs come in. Should that not be the case, simply do a search online using the name of your prescription drug. You can also call your pharmacy and ask them. Either way, it won't take long to find out who the manufacturer is.
Those plans pertain to both specialty and non-specialty drugs. Participating in them is often free. All it takes is signing up. Some companies may have certain requirements concerning their financial assistance for which you may not qualify. It differs per company, so do read through those first.
Once you have successfully signed up, you will likely be issued a members card with necessary information on it. Your healthcare provider will need that in order to apply it to your account/contract, so don't forget to inform them of this financial help.
Life is constantly subject to change. That does include that some doors may be shut. When that happens; don't despair. Keep your eyes, mind, and heart open, because God will always open other ones!
Revelation 3:8
"I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
