All's Well That Ends Well

When ordering a play-structure for our grandchildren, we had no clue we would be running into a delivery problem. The manufacturer's reply was that we should be contacted by the delivery company and a smaller truck would be provided, instead of the tractor trailer which wouldn't be able to make the turn into our driveway.

That didn't happen, but the problem should be resolved soon. No thanks to the shipping company. The people there didn't bother finding a solution. They simply unloaded it at their warehouse where it is now waiting to be picked up and we had to come up with our own answer on how to get it to our house.

I sincerely doubt any of this would have happened if the producer of the play-structure had engaged the services of AMS Fulfillment, but hindsight is 20/20. The manufacturer would do well taking that into consideration for the future. Problems like this have the potential resulting in loosing clients.

We contacted our yardman who was more then willing to pick it up and even offered to assemble it for us. All this should take place this morning and we can't wait to see it all set up in our backyard and ready to go. All's well that ends well!

All's well that ends well, Lieve Zus! :)

Could they give a discount since they cannot deliver as promised?

Audrey,
I haven't told them yet how it all turned out, but I will. Not to get a refund, because shipping is hired out to someone else and the shipping costs were under $10. It had to come from several states away and at least it got to our city.

I will however recommend them to use another shipping company for this area. We found a solution, but others may not be so fortunate.

The play-structure is being assembled as we speak. I will post a picture as soon as it is done. :-D

(((HUGS)))
God's Grace.
