Caution: The Virus Is Going Round
This virus seems to come out of the blue and take you by surprise. The day before yesterday, our youngest daughter was feeling fine. Yesterday however, she ran a high fever and was coughing her brains out. After seeing the doctor, we learned she had a respiratory infection.
Since it is contagious, we expect little Bel to be the next one to come down with it. We most certainly hope and pray that is not the case, because the little one would have a terrible time. It can not be avoided though, but we do the best we can to ward it off.
I am afraid though it may already be too late and since I took care of our granddaughter yesterday while her mom was at the doctor, I may be in for it too. I keep clinging to and relying on the fact that I had the flu-shot. That should provide some protection.
We ensure washing our hands regularly or use a hand sanitizer, while in the mean time trying to avoid contact with others, in order to keep the virus from spreading. Some things you just don't want to pass on.
What definitely needs to be passed on and has to be spread is God's word. It is health, healing, and food for the soul and leads to everlasting life!
Gather the people together, men and women and little ones, and the stranger who is within your gates, that they may hear and that they may learn to fear the Lord your God and carefully observe all the words of this law,
