A Statute Of Limitations

We have been hearing sirens going by for the past several days and not once, but multiple times. I sure don't like the sound of those, because it usually means that a bad accident happened and people got seriously injured or worse.

I sincerely wished that no one ever would be involved in a car accident, but as long as we are driving the possibility exists that we literally run into each other. It wouldn't be such a big ordeal if the damage would limit itself to the car, but that is hardly ever the case.

Personal injuries are the order of the day and most of them could have been avoided. Nowadays, a lot of people are on the phone and/or texting while trying to maneuver their car through traffic. The risk of accidents and the need for an Accident Lawyer Chattanooga TN have increased substantially.

I wasn't aware of it, but in case you want to file a lawsuit for all the bodily harm you suffered, you need to do that within a certain period after the collision happened. This is called the statute of limitations. Since I am no exception to the rule, I suspect many others weren't familiar with this fact either.

I hope you never have to experience any of it and since we all lead by example the only recommendations I can give you is to keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes and mind on the road!
