Home Remedies II

There is no need spending a lot of money on all kinds of treatments and/or products to relieve or treat an ailment. Here are some more cheap, but excellent options to cure several conditions with simple herbs and ingredients which we normally all have in our pantries or kitchen.

- Dandruff can disappear by rinsing with apple cider vinegar, or aloe vera gel which is rubbed onto the scalp, let it sit for about 20 minutes and then rinse it out. The latter is also very effective for a dry and itchy scalp. Try these remedies several times for the desired effect.

- Headaches and migraines can decrease by either sniffing peppermint and/or lavender oil, or rubbing it on your temples and the base of your neck. Some fresh lemon rubbed on the forehead may do the trick as well and for instant relief put an ice pack on your forehead for about 20 minutes. Drinking green tea, which contains a little caffeine may be helpful as well.

- A couple of spoons of apple cider vinegar will help with indigestion and heartburn and can regulate the level of your stomach acid which is needed to break down the food.

- Water, fruit and salads will prevent constipation, but should you experience it anyway, then a mix of a few teaspoons of olive oil and orange or lemon juice can get things going again. Chronic constipation should be treated by your physician though!

- A sore, scratchy throat can diminish by gargling with a spoonful of salt deluded in warm water. Do this several times a day and drink tea with honey and lemon afterwards.

- I already knew that a slice of raw potato will relieve a burn, but so does aloe vera gel and honey. Rinse the burn first liberally with cold water and then gently apply one of the above on it. Blistering burns are best to be looked at by a doctor.

- Nausea and car-sickness can be treated by ginger. Tea or candy with ginger, but also a whiff of peppermint or lavender oil, are good remedies.

All these remedies are to cure you from a physical illness, but they don't do much good when you are mentally down. Even though it may seem there is enough reason for concerns and sorrow, there is always hope and faith in God!

Proverbs 18:14
The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, But who can bear a broken spirit?

Nice One!!.......If you want to get rid off thyroid then you can use kelp. It is a sea weed which is an excellent antioxidant. It contains a high amount of iodine which is known to boost low thyroid function.
