Meals On Wheels

Our meals on wheels is arriving today. Yeah, that is how we call our oldest daughter who comes by every Friday and cooks us supper. Isn't that sweet?!

She started doing that several weeks ago and even though we are the guinea pigs for the new recipes she wants to try out, so far it has all been very scrumptious and we are looking forward to it.

I don't think she anticipated it would turn in to a weekly tradition, especially considering how she hardly ever cooked before. It has a lot of benefits though: she learns how to cook, we savour new dishes, extend our cook books and, most importantly, we get to spend some quality time together.

There is a lot to be thankful for and even what seems like a small thing, is a great blessing. Thank You, Lord! :-)

1 Thessalonians 5:18
in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
