Stroke Related Foods Part 2

I am not a huge soda fan, but when I drink it then it is diet soda. Well, in spite of my understanding that would be good for me, it is not; it is stroke, heart attack and coronary artery disease related and increases the risks for these diseases by 48% to 60%, when you drink it on a daily basis.

Drinking water is still the best and healthiest solution and if you don't like plain water, you can replace it with lemonade, iced tea (substitute the sugar with artificial sweetener), or juice for instance.

Another culprit for suffering from heart disease and a stroke is red meat, due to its high saturated fat content. When eating it daily, it will clog the arteries and even though it may contain a large amount of iron, the hemoglobin which is responsible for the last may cause blood to thicken and prohibit it from flowing well.

You will still need your protein, but you can easily get that by eating more poultry, fish, beans, nuts, legumes, tofu, and nonfat dairy, instead of red meat.

We can watch what we eat and drink, but don't let that consume our lives and lead to a neglect of the daily food we desperately need to nourish and strengthen our minds and souls!

Matthew 6:25
"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
