Toothpaste Applications

While I was doing a post for my art blog, I came across several applications of toothpaste which I wasn't aware of. Yes, you read that right; toothpaste apparently can be used for more then just cleaning your teeth.

A drop of the simple, white, non-gel toothpaste will relieve the itch and decreases the swelling of bug bites or insect stings. It can also be used on sores or blisters; it will dry them up, which allows for a faster healing.

You don't have to spend much money diminishing a blemish on your face or getting rid of a zit faster; just apply a little bit of toothpaste to the area in question. This method and the one above work best when done before going to bed and washing it off in the morning.

Burn wounds which are not open can be cooled temporarily by putting toothpaste directly on the burned area right after it happened. The toothpaste will not only have a cooling effect, but will also prevent the wound from weeping or opening.

It is incredible how a simple tube of toothpaste can be used in so many ways, but you couldn't and wouldn't know until someone tells or shows you and you apply it.

God's words of wisdom and instruction reach far beyond the benefits of anything else, but you won't reap them until and unless you are willing to listen, accept and apply them!

Proverbs 23:12
Apply your heart to instruction, And your ears to words of knowledge.
