Battling A Cold

With our grandsons attending pre-school they are bound to come home with colds and whatever else may be going around. They were getting over a cold for about two weeks now, but it seemed like the worst was behind them when they were staying with us during the weekends.

Since both of us are very susceptible to catching a cold and take every necessary precaution, we have been able to dodge the bullet and thought we were scot-free. We were, until the end of last week when I came down with a cold. Yuck.

I was plagued by headaches for a couple of days, until my sinuses finally started draining. So far, it hasn't made it into my chest yet and I pray that will not happen; it would not only mean a visit to the doctor and lots of medications, but also a long recovery time.

Well, even when that happens then so be it. Everything happens for a reason and even though I may not want it or understand it, God has a purpose and a goal in mind which is always for the best!

Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
