A Bad Habit With Bad Consequences

I don't think there is a soul in the world who hasn't heard about breakfast being the most important meal of the day. If you weren't aware of that yet then you are now and it is wise to take it to heart too, because it is true.

It is so tempting to skip breakfast when you are in a hurry, or on a diet, but the consequences are hard to escape. Your glucose level is rather low after such a long time going without a meal and that affects the brain and results in sluggishness, feeling light-headed, shaky, and prevents you from absorbing and remembering information.

You may be able to overlook and live with that, but you will not be able to ignore the next consequence: over-eating. Not only are the foods you tend to consume later that day usually not the healthiest and lean ones, your portions will be larger too. Hence, your weight gains faster then you are able to loose it, with all the health risks attached.

Even though it may sound contrary, but according to studies, eating a healthy breakfast actually helps with loosing weight and maintaining the weight loss. It keeps your appetite under control and takes away the craving for snacks in between meals. So, start the day well by taking the time to sit down and enjoying a nutritious breakfast.

Another great start of the day is sitting down in prayer, praising, thanking, asking, seeking, knocking, and letting God fill your heart with His love and peace. It is the best habit which yields nothing but positive consequences!

1 Corinthians 10:31
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Yes, I agree with you. Breakfast is the most meal of the day. But I can eat throughout the day too :)
