Inevitable

I guess it was inevitable and only a matter of time before this would happen; our four-legged friend Mia is supposed to be pregnant and after a visit to the vet yesterday, we found out she could have her puppies within one to three weeks.

The phrase 'supposed to be pregnant' is used on purpose, because the vet suspects she is and we didn't have any other tests done to confirm it. It could well be something else, but the way she has been acting and her tummy has been growing, we all don't think that is the case.

We never undertook any action to prevent this, because she managed to escape from the yard a gazillion times before, even had been missing for several days, and nothing came out of it, figuratively and literally speaking. This lead to the impression and belief she couldn't have any puppies.

In spite of all our efforts to keep her within the fence, she managed to get out one more time a while back. It has already been hard enough to keep the 'mom-to-be' in the yard. Can you imagine what a chore that is going be with all those little ones running around?

Oh well, everything happens for a reason and has its purpose. Only God knows why and what and we simply have faith it is all for the best!

Ecclesiastes 3:1
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:

Audrey,
No, not yet, but we expect them any moment. It will be a surprise to find out how many we soon will have to run after and try keeping in the fence. Speaking about exercise! Grin.

God's Grace.
