Back Home

Our grandchildren were picked up by their mom and arrived here last Monday afternoon. The trip to Kansas and back went well and we were so grateful for all God's blessings and protection on the entire journey. Our gratitude also goes to all of you who remembered our loved ones in their prayers!

It was so good seeing them after half a year and yes, they had grown quite a bit. The biggest difference however was the improved speech of both Leo and Emmaly and the knowledge Kc gained at school, as we discovered later on.

The kids were happy to be back and were right at home. It didn't even seem like they had been gone at all; they picked right up where they had left off. Toys were re-discovered, their 'treasure' boxes were examined and checked for all the trinkets they had accumulated over time and the yard was scoped out and quickly taken over by bikes and cars.

It is good to have them back safe and sound and even though they will leave again by the end of this month, God has blessed us with and through them and the time we are able to spend together. We will make the most of it! :-)

Isaiah 12:4
"And in that day you will say: "Praise the LORD, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted."
