The Similarity Between Colors And Medications
I have been rather busy redecorating these past couple of days. Our oldest is tackling almost every room in her house and making it her own by spackling, taping, painting, and decorating. Since this is such a major endeavor I offered to help her and that works out great; I don't like all the prep works and she does. She doesn't like to paint and I love it.
We are making major strides towards the goal and already finished the kitchen and guest bathroom, but still have several rooms to go. It is incredible seeing how a different wall color brings a room to life and takes it from bland and cold to warm and inviting. This may sound odd to you, but it occurred to me how medications and colors have so much in common.
Just like colors, there are medications that simply don't work. Then there is the general group of colors that are doing okay, just like many drug which do the trick curing a condition or making it more bearable. And then there is that particular medication, or color in this case, which is just perfect.
Every person is different and what works for one, may not work for another. The right drug can take your body from achy and fatigued to energetic and lively and I know that from experience. It may take a while to find the medication that is just right, but it is worth it; it makes all the difference in the world.
It is more than worth it being and giving a testimony of what a difference God makes in our lives. We need to do that every chance we get, because you never know when it will have an impact. When it does, it will make all the difference in that person's life!
Psalm 24:5
He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
