Medication List Versus Trouble With The Law

It may not have crossed your mind, but it would be a good idea to carry a list with you of all the medications you have to take for an existing condition when you plan to take a trip. It would also be wise to include the names and telephone numbers of the physicians who prescribed it.

It could prevent a lot of trouble when you would be traveling and got involved in an accident. It would save healthcare givers valuable time to get in touch with your doctor if need be, but it could also prove to be very helpful in case you get pulled over by the police.

The medications you are carrying with you may be reason for suspicion. You wouldn't want to put yourself in a position where you need a Criminal Attorney Columbus OH. Being able to present the law enforcers with a list of prescribed drugs would bail you out so to speak.

You may have a smooth trip and not need the list at all, but it is always better to take precautions than to have to prove your innocence. It doesn't cause you any inconvenience and would always come in handy in case you run out of medication and need a refill!
