Roots Of Faith

New life sprouting from the remaining trunk of a broken tree.

This was drawn after last year's hurricanes and inspired by the verse below. But it is significant to all the storms in life. :-)

2 Corinthians 4:8-9
8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—

Hey Girl!
Those roots planted and watered by the God who meets all our needs so abundantly can never be lifted out of the soil! Thanks for the reminder and the beautiful depiction of it.

You rock!

Corry -

I'd already been by and had seen your latest tree drawing, but just haven't commented in a while (too long). I really like your drawing and thoughts with it and it reminds me VERY much of the blog post I gave the award to (that you MUST check out) and the picture the young man, Scott Simpson, took that I had in my winners' post.

Here's the link to that specific post, "Listening to Trees" from last January.

I do not know this young man except by that post he wrote and a few others I read when "checking" him out, but based on that post alone, he's a gifted Christian writer and thinker.

His post reminds me so very much of your's here, Corry.

Dee

P. S. How are you doing with your injections? I read your post about giving yourself your shot for the first time. That's great that you're able to do that now. I just hope you'll be able to do so without having sore muscles afterward.

Hi lieve zus :)
Just drop by to let you know that I've been thinking about you and Noor. She is beginning a new chapter in her life on 14 Aug. I'm so excited for her.
God bless both of you abundantly!

Corry, there are times in my life that I feel like being hard-pressed, perplexed and struck down. The storms in life can be daunting, but in Christ we have hope and help. Great drawing sis. You are sooooo talented! :)

Dee,
Thanks for the link.
I have no problems with the shots anymore and the only thing that hurts is the fluid when goingin, but that is so minor it's neglectable:-)

Audrey,
Thank you, lieve zus. It's so sweet of you to remember that. :-)
God bless you bunches as well!

Kitty,
Amen!

Thanks girl :-) Still waiting for your picture, hehe.

God's Grace.

Claire,
Nice to see you, girl. I think I have been doing the same. I have been reading but not commenting much.

I hope all is well with y'all too. I pray your medication is helping and giving you some relief.
God bless you.

God's Grace.
