Quick Update

Noor has passed her final exam at the business school in Holland and is now officially a "Bachelor of Economics". Congrats girl. We are so proud of you!
She has a job interview on July 6, with a business that does marketing for other businesses and she hopes to get that job.

Patrick is going for his last chemo next week Tuesday. The latest tests showed that his blood was rapidly approaching the normal values and he is doing real well. We are so grateful for that!

Noor and Patrick

April has been coming over several times these past days and intends to come back to live with us. We are so grateful for this as well.

Kc's computer has been abandoning him and has been giving him a lot of grief. Hopefully it will do what it is supposed to do now and not what it wants to do. Must be female, haha.

I got my next shot of Humira yesterday and I can't wait to see the positive effects that might bring about.

All in all, it's been busy and sometimes a little hectic around here and it's mentally and emotionally very draining. But God gave opportunities and opened doors where we saw none. He is blessing us and we are so grateful for all of it. Yet, if you would, remember all off them in your prayers, please? Thank you y'all :-)

2 Samuel 22:7
In my distress I called upon the LORD,And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry entered His ears.

Good morning Corry! That's such a great picture of Noor and Patrick...I'm glad to hear that school went well and that Patrick's treatments are almost finished and progressing well. It's also good to hear that April is planning to come back to live with you...that's a real special blessing.

I'm glad to hear that everything is okay with you, despite Kc's technology woes. I hope the medicine continues to work well and bring many positive effects to you.

We'll talk to you real soon...blessings, love and (((HUGS)))!

Corry - I'm so very happy for you that the medication is helping so much. I'm sorry it hurts and burns while being injected, but hope that the effects of it are substantial enough to help you get through those few moments of pain (or do you have residual pain for longer than that? I hope not!)

Hope you and Kc have a good American holiday weekend ahead. Tell him I just read his latest post this evening and he had some really good things to say (and comment, I thought).

I'm going to email my school friend to tell her of your good news with the Humira. Thank God for all of His rich blessings even in our hours of pain and trials!

Cheers! Dee

Dee,
Yes, the injection-site is still sore for the rest of the day, but all that is nothing compared to the results:-)

I passed it on to Kc and we hope you have a great and blessed weekend yourself. I don't think we will see much fire-works, since they warned people to refrain from it because of the long drought and the fire-hazard. We may restrict ourselves to "fire"-works in the grill, hehe.

I hope, God willing, your friend will be able to get on it. I can't help but suspect it will benefit her greatly as well.

And I can't agree with you more: Thank God for all of His blessings! The pain and trials are so worth it. :-)

God's Grace.

Thank you ever so much for praying Corry. No, I'm not doing any better...in fact, more has happened...my arthritis in my knees started up again, for no apparent reason, and the baker's cyst behind my knee is acting up, and my foot is still bothering me after getting the soft cast off. So between the new disease and this other I really do feel like Job.
