The Message

This was a message we read, on a message-board of one of the churches we passed the other day:

Sorrow looks back,
Worry looks around,
Faith looks up!

And as my discerning husband added: "Wisdom does all of those things!."

But God looks upon us, and gives what's needed, when it's needed. More so, His grace and mercy are ever-present! :-)

Psalm 119:132
Look upon me and be merciful to me, As Your custom is toward those who love Your name.

I dunno... it's only 8:30 and that's almost too deep for me ;)

I dazedly agree, though!

I've been concentrating too much this week on the "worry" part of that equation, what with building a house and all, so I need this message this evening. Thanks!

Much love to you all! Dee

Lenise,
I am guessing those little rascals wore you out, huh? They will get better at it too, hehe.
On a more serious note, I do hope you feel better, girl. Any new developments on the job-front?

When I read this message, it was something I had to ponder on as well, and it was only early afternoon!
And Kc adding that wisdom didn't make it easier. :-)

Dee,
Totally understandable, girl.
I try to hold on to
Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

That doesn't always SEEM possible. But you know what? This too shall pass! :-)

Have a blessed day, with lots of joys.

Ron,
That's wise advice and I think that works when you are "caught up" with your life. I know though it has kept me from learning from my mistakes too long, sigh.

May your day be filled with many blessings!

God's Grace.

Worry's no good.
Godly sorrow leads to repentance, and that's the sorrow we need.
Faith gives us the hope of salvation.

Good post, Corry.

I also enjoy seeing Reiley, Luke and Josiah on your Scribbles tablet.

Karen,
Amen!

It's so good to see you, girl. Missed you around.
And I apologise. I should have asked your permission to put those little critters on there. They were just too cute to pass up.:-)
Time those other two little cuties get added on there as well. grin.

Have a very blessed day!

God's Grace.

And I was tickled to catch a glimpse of Jay up there the other day. You know, it's out there on my blog for the world to see anyway, so no need to ask me for permission!

PS thanks for stopping by =] I have to laugh at Isaac slobbering on the railing..

Amen! How nice, Corry. I think there's a hymn "my faith looks up to thee". Might have to look that up, but I know it tells me something. :)

Lenise,
I kinda figured you didn't mind cause you put it up on your blog :-) Isaac is on tab as well, hehe.

He was just so cute and that face when he got up there! Priceless!

Sarah,
Oh girl, I love hymns. They always make me consider things in a positive way, just like The Bible. I wish I had a hymnal. I have such a hard time remembering words. Too many senior-moments, haha.
Kc has a link to hymns online. I should look them up and print them out sometime. :-)

Many blessings to you today, lil sis. :-)

God's Grace.
