No Critter's Cooings
Nope, I ain't cooing today. I am sick!
I don't know whether it was something I ate, or if a bug crawled into my little tummy and partied around, but I have had diarrhea (or a race-case, as Oma calls it) for a few days now.
Mommy called the doctor yesterday morning and he suspected I might be lactose intolerant. He advised Mom to switch over to another brand of milk that didn't have as much, or any, in it. I seemed to get a bit better, but that was a pipe-dream, sigh.
Mom gave me lots of fluids, but in the afternoon, she got a feeling something was wrong. As soon as Daddy came home, they took me to the hospital and it turned out I was slightly dehydrated. Little did I know, but I sure wised up! It means they stick needles in you! OUCH!!
They call it an IV. I sure wasn't a happy camper. It got Mommy all upset and when Oma heard they poked me with needles, she shuddered and both Opa and Oma felt so sorry for me. We had to stay for a while before we all could go home.
I hope my little tummy is getting all better now. I am grateful Mom knew something was amiss and took action. I guess Mommies instinctively know, huh!
I didn't like this experience. But not all that hurts is bad. Just because I didn't like, nor wanted all this, it was for my best. God knows what's best too! So even if it goes against your wants and desires, just remember, it's all for your happiness and well-being!
1 Peter 5:10
But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
