Bitter Cold

It is bitter cold here and has been for a while now. I know, I should not be complaining because there are some of you who are seeing temperatures which are even much lower than the ones we are experiencing. I don't mind the frost; the longer it continues the fewer bugs we will have to deal with in the summer.

We had actually hoped to see some snow last weekend and the weather forecast was very promising. It did not happen; we got rain instead on Saturday and more freezing weather after that. What we also got was something we did not bargain for and definitely could have done without: a power outage on Sunday morning!

When that happened I wished we had exterior shutters which we could have closed; the heat would have stayed in our home a lot longer that way. The shutters we have are affixed to the house and only serve to enhance the curb appeal. There was nothing else we could do, but dress up warm, call the power company and hope for the best.

The power came back on in about an hour, which is not bad at all. We were thankful it got fixed that quickly, because it started to get pretty cold inside. That is not a very ideal situation with young children around and I hope it will not happen again during this bitter cold weather. To be honest; I hope it will not happen at all!

You are now talking health reform will be changed soon; we trust that Obama and his staff do what is necessary for the welfare of families. This reform must be appropriate because many families depend on it, the health system a long time that is weak and patients suffering from cancer, chronic fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson's, diabetes, chronic pain, chronic anxiety among many other diseases, Need proper medical attention, according to the measure should be findrxonline for 80% of patients with these diseases.

Bristoll Cardiff,
I hope the health reforms will be better then before, but I have my doubts. There is too much at stake for many people with diseases.

God's Grace.

I work with ChiliTechnology and have been using my ChiliPad to help with my RA pain and inflammation at night (it's a mattress pad that cools or heats the bed). It got very cold here too, so I began using it to heat the bed instead of using the heat at night, way more efficient!
