A Quick Update

The expression: 'When it rains, it pours' is very appropriate when it comes to son in law's family.

His grandfather has to go to the hospital on a daily basis for dialysis and his life expectancy is only a few more months. All our grandchildren stayed with them, but we knew that would be impossible for them and we took care of our three month old granddaughter to give them some space.

Son in law's grandmother came down with a really bad staph infection. The doctor wanted to admit her to the hospital right away, but she settled for going in every day to have an IV. Little Leo, his youngest son, came down with the RSV virus and his mom got bedridden with the flu.

Kc, our oldest grandson, was the only healthy one around and son in law asked if we could take him to relieve his mother and grandparents. We agreed to take lil' Kc as well; managing taking care of him and his sister was duable.

Then little Emmy came down with the RSV virus as well and since it is highly contagious, even up to three weeks after they are well, we called our youngest to come and take care of her daughter. She came and got her and a day later got Leo as well, since all of her husband's relatives were way too sick to take care of him.

When she heard we could not take Emmy back due to her contagious stage and my extremely weak immune system, she picked up lil' Kc too and for now is staying at her mom's appartment. We don't know what will happen from here on out, but we hope for the best.

I would like to ask your prayers for everyone involved; for health, strength, encouragement and for a quick and good solution to the entire situation. Thanks y'all, we really would appreciate it!

James 5:16
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Lenise,
Thanks so much, girl! We are hanging, even though it's by a thread. :-)

God's Grace.
