Uh Oh!

It is another rainy and dreary day. It is not as bad as it was a few days ago when the rain came pouring down in such large quantities that many areas got flooded again. Even though it seems bad at times, we can rest assured in God's promise:

Genesis 9:11
Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth."

The following picture could not have been more timely and in case you have ever wondered why some animals are extinct....
Yeah, they missed the boat!

Sometimes we get so preoccupied that we loose sight of what is really important. A reminder every now and then won't hurt. It actually can be very helpful redirecting our steps and refocusing on God's word, guidance and leadership.

We don't want to 'miss the boat' when the time comes!

1 Peter 4:7
But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.

That's a great reminder Corry! Thank you.

I don't want to miss any opportunity (the boat) that God gave me.

How have you ben KC been? Missing you.

Kitty,
We are doing okay. Kind of still recuperating from taking care of the grandkids, but very grateful that we God gave us the opportunity to do so.

I am keeping up with you through bloglines and I hope to have some more time now to comment as well. :-)

((((HUGS))))
God's Grace.
