A Wonderful Poem

I am so grateful that most of the bitter cold is gone. We like to keep the office door open while we are working and let me assure you that it is not a very pleasant experience when it is freezing.

In spite of the socks and warm slippers on my feet, there were times when I wondered whether I still had toes. No, not a good thing when you have RA and are constantly warned by the Rheumatologist to watch out for Raynaud's Phenomenon.

I enjoyed this poem very much. It is very well written and I hope that you will enjoy it as well.

' WINTER '
by Abigail Elizabeth McIntyre.

Geeezzz ....It's Cold!

The End.

Since this beautiful winter poem was sent to me during this last cold spell, I considered it rather insensitive to post it while we all were trying to cope with the snow, hard freeze and all the problems it presented.

When someone is fighting problems and/or deep concerns, it is almost like a slap in their face ignoring the effect it has on them and their life. A sympathetic and encouraging word or action is much more needed and appreciated at that time.

What a great blessing that we always have that special someone in our Lord!

Proverbs 25:20
Like one who takes away a garment in cold weather, And like vinegar on soda, Is one who sings songs to a heavy heart.
