Merry Christmas!

I know it is always a hectic time; buying and wrapping those last minute presents, starting dinner preparations and having to go back to the store, because we forgot certain items we desperately need for a specific dish, getting ready to receive family and friends, and ensuring everything is tiptop before the crowd drops in.

I suspect we all are looking forward to the smiling faces when the presents are being unwrapped, the gleaming eyes of the children, their enthusiasm, the wonderful, cherished time we are able to spend together, and our hearts full of love while thinking of those close to us, who can not be there to share in this time of joy.

And a time of joy and gratitude it is; for God loved us so much, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that we can have everlasting life!

A very Merry Christmas, everyone!

Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
