Cutting Back A Cold

It is the cold season and yes, I am referring to both the outside temperature, as well as the sneezing, coughing, and other small ailments that come with this physical condition.

A common cold can be very aggravating and often caused a lot of discomfort and fatigue. We all try to get over it as quickly as possible and like to resort to over the counter medications and supplements.

One of those herbal supplements is Echinacea, but I just got through reading that this has little to no effect on speeding up the healing. Well, that is not entirely true; according to the article, people who took it as opposed to those who didn't, got well about half a day sooner.

This may seem to be negligible, but let's face it; the quicker you are back on the road of health, wellness and wellbeing, the better. It may be worth taking Echinacea when you suffer from a cold, even if it cuts back the illness by only half a day, it is half a day less of feeling miserable!
