Tornado

Well, our little grandson got in the tub early this morning, but not as he was used to; fully dressed and without any water.

The weather was really bad and many tornado warnings were issued for our area. At one point, they were so close; we took precautions and headed for the safest place in the house: the front bathroom.

Our little guy didn't know what was happening and I tried to explain it to him. I think he understood and thought it was rather funny sitting in the tub with all his clothes and shoes on.

We were blessed; no tornadoes hit us, but not even half a mile away a tornado destroyed the front of a supermarket, the gas station across from it, and several other small businesses and houses and toppled over several cars. We heard there were only minor injuries, thank The Lord, but the damage was substantial.

God blessed us tremendously and watched over us. He kept us safe and we are thankful and grateful for all His mercy, love and care!

Psalm 4:8
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
