Loose Weight With A Smile

I came across an article that had several tips and facts in it pertaining to weight loss. The reason why I thought sharing this might be helpful is, because being overweight puts extra strain on your joints.

Those who suffer from RA or another form of Arthritis can use every help relieving as much strain and pressure on their joints as possible. Dieting can be a daunting task, but you can help it along by making light of it.

Laughter and smiling have been proven means to reduce your appetite and increase the burning of more fat, due to the release of serotonin. So, get the good endorphins going and flowing. You will be killing two birds with one stone; it will not only result in decreased numbers on your scales, but also increase and strengthen your emotional state.

It may not always be easy to find something to smile about or to crack you up, but you can always crack some peanuts, pistachios, or other shelled nuts instead. Nuts are healthy snacks, but studies have shown that when you have to shell them yourself, you will eat less of them and consequently digest fewer calories.

There are more of these small, useful tips, but I am not going to overwhelm you with them right now. It is always better to take small steps at the time and move forward slowly but surely, instead of leaping and coming to the conclusion some things got overlooked.

There are many things to be grateful for and to smile about. There are blessings in every situation and occurrence. They may not be so obvious right away, but once you look for them you will find them.

When you do, remember God gave them because He loves and cares about you. Doesn't that make you smile? :-)

John 16:33
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
