Let Go
I know God has a way of working things out and I am also aware He works in mysterious ways. God only has our best in mind and that has been proven once again when His will came to fruition this past week.
We were never happy with our grandchildren going with their father all the way to Kansas and later on to upper Alabama. We had great concerns for our oldest grandson and rightfully so; he missed his mom, us, his friends, and everything that was familiar in his little life.
Each time we talked to him and he had to get of the phone or when they came over and he had to leave again, he fell silent and we could sense his sadness and disappointment. Lately, he has not been doing well at school and talked about his mom and us every day.
We felt sorry for our little man, but there was nothing we could do about it. God could and He did. Out of the blue, we got a call last week from our grandson's dad telling us that he was letting Kc come back to his mom.
Since his mom is extremely busy with her job, he will be in our care quite often. It will be an adjustment for everyone involved, but we all agreed and think it is in everyone's best interest.
Yes, God has ways of working things out. We don't need to try and force things along. All we need to do is have faith and patience and everything will fall in place.
In other words: Let go and let God!
Deuteronomy 32:4
He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.

"Let go and let God!" is the best policy, Lieve Zus :)
Audrey,
I believe it is, but most importantly; it works! :-)
God's Grace.
