Happy Halloween

I don't really know what went wrong, but my blog is fixed. Thanks for the patience:-)
From Patty's site. Happy Halloween y'all.

A woman was asked by a coworker:
"What is it like to be a Christian?"

She replied the coworker:
"It is like being a pumpkin.

God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you.
Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff.
He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed.
Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see."

John 8:12
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Anyone can feel free to use anything I post on my blog. I usually get them from someone that has sent me an e-mail.

Also to both you ladies, remember this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, get your check-ups. I also have a spot on my blog to click, it's suppose to give free mammograms to women that can't afford them.

Thanks for the reminder:-)
My grandmother and 2 aunts of mine both had breastcancer. The sooner it's treated, the better!

Hi Corry,

Thanks for sharing that...I had also received it in an email and smiled 'cause it's so true. God bless you. And thanks for visiting my blog recently. I just got back yesterday from seeing a rheumatologist who told me that fibromyalgia doesn't exist. He was the most unprofessional doctor I've ever seen....had to wait nearly 4 hours to get my exam done. So discouraging. Maybe I'll write about it later....hope you're doing okay.

hugs,
Vicki

Hi, Corry -

I've been reading your posts along, but just haven't had the time to comment around anywhere, which is quite dismaying for me because I love to comment to all the great posts I read. Things are still just very difficult around here at the moment as much as we long for "normalcy" back again, you know?!

I love your fall picture on your current post! So cute. Halloween is all for kids! All the way. As are all the holidays, I guess. Makes them a lot more fun, anyway, for us "oldtimers!"

Thanks for "sticking" with me by commenting along as you have. It means the world to me to have everyone comment, just so I'll have the energy to keep on going some days.

Godspeed.

Dee

Thanks for the visit and the comment. It's good to see you back. I know how busy you have been lately:-)

I couldn't believe the doctor telling you your illness doesn't exist. He prolly took the term FIB-romyalgia literally. My recommendation would be to see another doctor, but that might not be possible. I am sorry, girl. Some people just can't believe it exists until they get it (I pray he never will).

I admire your persistence and perseverence. Try not to be discouraged. God knows all about it!

Dee:

Good to see you back!

I can imagine the impact the hurricane had on your neck of the woods and how difficult it must be to try to get your life back to "normal", although from what I read on your posts, that might take quite a while.
I am happy for you that you got some time to getting around reading and commenting.

Support, comfort and encouragement are very important in times of need. God gives all that in different ways and forms. Even by small uplifting comments:-) A small thing often has a great impact. I am grateful God used me to be of some support to you.

God's Grace.

Hi Corry,

That pumpkin illustration is right on target. I was wondering if I could link to the prayer list from my site. I think it is a very useful and needed tool. Thanks.
