Once Upon A Time...
There was a peregrine sojo who rejoiced in living. He thought of himself as an ordinary Christian and kept his spiritside up with verses of passion and Bible Study.
Just so you'll know, he had just left his home and family, whom he thought of as "my heart and my life".
One day, on his life's journey, as he was finding direction, he came across wildflower meadows. He felt tired and wondered if he would be coming down with the Claire bug. He decided to lay down for a nap. However, his musings about life matters kept him awake and he sought refreshment in refuge through prayer.
Refreshed as he was, he continued his travels and saw Kristi's Korner in the distance. As he stepped through the blue door, he thought how marvellous it would be if he met one of the first hundred who could tell him some cindertales about the crushed leviathan he had heard so much about.
The place was not too crowded yet. There was a young couple sitting close together, whispering sweet nothings to each other. A paxifist, who just came from Rivendell, was putting up with the mischief of a little kid in the pixie corner. The walls were decorated with Rose's reasonings and Nan's rants, which added to the place' uniqueness and created an atmosphere of being home.
Jayne's journey had also taken her there. He decided to sit by her and as he pulled up a chair, he asked if she could tell him about the leviathan. Jayne answered: " I can only tell you about me".
As he leaned back he pondered on her answer. Then it hit him: "What you tried to say to me, is that I need a space to place my heart. I need not look for anything or to anyone else. My part is to look through the windows of my soul and make sure that every macromoment of my life is dedicated to living according to God's Word".
And God smiled:-)
Psalm 84:11
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.

God's Grace.
Now you would think that given your close association to Kc, and mine as well, I would have at least visited your site before. Well I have. But you would think I would have commented as well. Well I haven't.
So, I think this is my very first comment on the lovely wife of Kc's site.
What shall I say?
It must be good.
Something to dazzle her and make her love me forever.
Here I go:
Jesus loves me!
Do you know who Barth is? He is a famous theologian. When asked, at the end of his life, what the most profound thought within Christianity was, do you know how he responded? As I just did. He said, 'Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so'.
I'm rambling, but I think that is a great thought for the day.
If you wanted to know my most profound thought within Christianity and the Scriptures, I would say, 'Jesus wept'. I love that thought. It is so wondrous. The God ALMIGHTY, the LORD of all, the creator of all and the Sovereign of all, WEPT!
I just got goose-bumps.
I will leave you now. I am bookmarking you. Don't know why I haven't previously. Heck, I am even adding you to my list. Why? because Kc likes you. So I do as well...
awaiting the hope,
Adam
Adam,
I am grateful for your visit and honored by being bookmarked and added to your list. I will add you to my list as well (you already were bookmarked, since Kc likes you so much, grin).
You need not dazzle me in order for me to love you. I already love you as a brother in Christ, add to that the fact that you have both impressed Kc and me with your sofystry, plus...Kc loves you, that in itself says enough:-)
I have to correct you, it's your second comment. You made one on my site earlier on a post on cheese:-)
I have "heard" of Barth but am not familiar with this theologian, nor any other for that mattern. This is a great thought though but so is yours. I always get goose-bumps thinking about Jesus giving His life for us sinners, so we could have life!
Thanks for your "ramblings". Know that they are always welcome here:-)
God's Grace.
"Jesus loves me" is not only profound, it's preposterous. Thankfully, graciously, it's also true. And hard to remember/embrace!
i had fun reading this. it's brilliant! i'm grateful to be part it. i can't imagine how i'd do that with my list... you're so clever!
much love!
Yes!
You're so clever, intelligent and brilliant.
Very well done, lieve zus!
May the peace of God be with you :)
Lenise,
I know exactly what you mean! Makes me feel so humbled for I am so unworthy of His love, yet... He loves me!!!! :-)
