Dense

The other day our phone was out almost all day (no clue why, it just was).
Kc and I had both been so busy throughout the day, when supper-time came around, I didn't really feel like cooking. But I had the perfect solution to that. Pizza! So I asked him if he would like me to order it.

Kc: " Sure. That sounds great! How are you going to order it?"

Ehh.....?!?!
In case you already haven't figured it out, that's difficult to do without a phone! Sometimes I wonder why I don't use my "thinker" like I am supposed to use it. Maybe the question ought to be: Where is it???? grin.

BTW...yeah, I cooked. :-)

Jel,
So good to have you back, dear sister! That must have been some experience, but I am grateful you got power now.

I love the pics on your site. It reminded me of this drawing I did after Katrina.

Hmmm...don't you ought to be asleep by that time? I hope all is well, lieve zus.

I am sorry for not having replied to your mail yet, but I will do so soon!

Saija,
Haha, I can sympathize!
Kc and I were talking one day about replacing the ceiling-fans. I told him I would like to keep them, because it is so nice to have some air-flow when the power is out!!

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!

Amy,
Welcome to my blog, it's so nice to see you here and thank you for your comment:-)

You are definitely not the only one! I had another "bright" moment just yesterday.
I was going to make tuna-helper for supper. When it was time to prepare it, I told Kc I was going to defrost the ground-beef, and since it was a 2 lbs pack, I would split it in half and use one lbs for the tuna-helper and the other lbs for next day supper. Had it not been for Kc asking me since when we used groundbeef in tuna-helper, I would have gone along defrosting it, just to find out later it wasn't needed! Argh.

Have you found some marbles lately? They may be mine, haha.

Have a wonderful, blessed day! :-)

Jel,
I am so glad to hear you did well. Sorry for those who had a hard time. I hope all is much better now for them as well. And you are right, God is The Power!

I remember being a kid, we had a coal-heater. It was nice and warm in front of it, but the rest of the house was sooooo cold!

Enjoy the power and all the other many blessings God is giving you. I pray they will be many!:-)

Pia,
Your giggles always make me smile. :-)

Much joy and blessings to you, girl!

(((HUGS))) and love to y'all!!

God's Grace.

HI. CORRY I have been exploring your information about arthoritus! Enjoy the reading so far because I'm dealing with it also and I seemed to have a lot of questions similar to yours ? Thanks for all of the links to information about artharitus? Don't get to shook up about the other day when starting dinner that is a sign that the senoir moments is creeping up on you ? I keep saying that when the combination of forgetting what you went in kitchen to cook and forgot where everything is and in frustration you sat down to regroup and 15 minutes later you forgot what you were doing you just need to take a nap and start over after nap ? Blessings to you ! RON.

We take so many things in life for granted any more, don't we? Technology has done wonders for us and it isn't until something "goes out" or quits working that we sometimes stop and are mindful that without God, we have nothing whatsoever.

But I am thankful to technology for my very life, since I'm a diabetic. I'm on a computerized batter operated insulin pump and am forever thankful for it and even insulin itself that was not discovered and/or manufactured until the mid 1920s.

Thank God for the life we live these days and help us not to complain so much or so loud!

Cheers & Blessings to each of you! Dee

Ron,
Welcome to my blog and thank you so much for the comment.

I am sorry to hear you have arthritis and I do hope some of the info I shared so far, may be helpful to you. And of course, you are always welcome to share your own experiences, questions or solutions.

I might have senior moments, especially when it comes to electricity. I am shocked! :-)

God bless you.

Dee,
You are right, we ought to count our blessings more.
I am grateful you are doing well, girl. That is good to hear.

As far as technology goes, I am thankful for it but as I commented on Jel's blog, it does take away from the family-bond. Where they used to spend the evenings together, talking, playing games, nowadays the time is spend watching tv, computer, phone... you name it. The more technology we get, the busier we seem to be.
Says the pot... haha.

Have a wonderful weekend filled with many blessings.

God's Grace.
