Not Much Longer

I had so planned to go by your blogs and catch up, but it's been extremely hectic these past several day. I hope you will forgive me and as soon as I can, I will drop by.

April had to go to the hospital Friday afternoon, because she was having contractions all day long. Kc took her to the hospital, since Ray was at work, and I watched our little critter.

The nurse gave her pills to stop the contractions, no dilation yet, and after about 4 hours, they got back and stayed till Ray got off from work. The pills helped for a little bit.

Saturday night they went to the ER, since the contractions had started up again, and dropped lil' Casey off around 1 AM. He was out of his rhythm, but oh so sweet and in such a good disposition. :-) I finally got him to sleep around 5 AM. Since there still was no dilation, they gave April shots to stop the contractions and kept her there until the next morning for the doctor to see her. After that, she was dismissed. Both her and Ray were exhausted, so we let them catch up on some needed rest while we kept our little critter here for the rest of the day.

Monday work started and catching up on the things that had been set aside. We both are exhausted. I have to admit, I can feel my age, haha. Today I am going over to her and help her clean up and what ever else needs doing. God will give what's needed, when it's needed!

We kind of expect our second grandson to be here before his due date. Even the doctor suspected he would be earlier and said this baby was bigger then lil' Casey was.

We just hope and pray all will go well. God is in control and knows what is best! :-)

Kitty,
Thank you, dear Sister! We really appreciate it and definitely need it. We are all practically burnt out right now. But we trust in God's provision. :-)

Hi Corry,

Ya'll have had it kinda rough especially April having to go through all that she has to ? Am praying everything goes well !

Ain't you glad you and Opa got all that training when ya'll were growing up ? All of of children think that parents are indispensable ! But always remember there is joy along with the light at the end of the tunnel ?

Blessings.
Grandpaw.

Wow, Corry! I've had some problems lately loading your page, so I've missed you. :-(

Miracles can take a lot of work in the birthing (pun intended). I hope you know I am not making light of your April's situation, I just see the deep truth in it. I will keep all of you in my prayers - hope and endurance and enough moments to rest for the parents and the grandparents - and a continuing pleasant demeanor from Lil Casey.

God bless you!

Y'all,
Thanks for all the prayers and encouraging comments. Hopefully things will slow down a bit now.

Green,
Welcome to my blog and thanks for the comment.

Kids are a blessing! A good thing God provided us with two hands. They both are filled, for which we are so grateful! :-)

God's Grace.
