Grateful For Technology
I can not tell you how grateful I am that technology has been and still is moving forward with leaps and bounds. If it had not, it would have been almost impossible to see the pictures of our new little granddaughter so quickly after she was born.
The reason we could was because our oldest daughter, who was present at the time of the birth, had her mobile phone with her. Due to all the developments in technology, she was able to take the photos with her phone and show them to us as soon as she got home.
It is one of the things I like about a digital camera as well; instant gratification. You can immediately view the picture you took. If it did not come out well, just take another one, download them to the computer and they are ready to be printed, posted and e-mailed.
The only disadvantage of a digital camera is that you do not always carry that with you. I know that too well from personal experiences. Our oldest was at work, when she found out that the baby was arriving much earlier then expected.
Since she did not have her digital camera with her and would have to go home first to get it. That could have caused her to miss out on the whole happening. Thanks to all this new, advanced, digital equipment she could up and leave on a moment's notice, which she did.
There are many new developments which I was not even aware off. It so turns out that the new ipod nano comes fully equipped with a digital camera now as well. You know what that means don't you? The excuses for not taking pictures have gone out of the window.
So..., get them in Windows and share!
