A Grand Daughter

We have a grand daughter: Emmaly. We don't know her middle name yet, but she weighs 5 pounds even and is 18" tall. She is a little red head, just like our oldest daughter who is her aunt.

How we know? Our oldest got a mass text message this morning in which her sister announced that Emma was going to be born today at 12:30 PM. It turned out that she was having contractions and already was dilated. Emma is born 5 and a half weeks too early, but all seems to be well with both mother and baby. Thank The Lord!

Our oldest went to the hospital and she was in the delivery room when the C-section was performed and the baby was born. She took pictures and as soon as we have them, I will post some.

She got to see our grandsons as well and said that lil' Kc held her for the longest time. It broke our hearts, but God knows all about it. May He keep a hedge around these little ones and work in our youngest daughter's heart.

I just wished it would not hurt so much.

Proverbs 20:30
Blows that hurt cleanse away evil, As do stripes the inner depths of the heart.

I wish it didn't either, dear sis.

But congratulations are in order, and prayers are lifted in praise for their well-being!

God will continue his work in a heart, as He always seems to do.

Bless you. I hope you get to meet the little one soon and give hugs all around.

Thanks, Corry. The poison seems to be working as prescribed. ;) Just playing catch-up with chores and life right now and thanking God for them!
