Joy In A Job

We are glad that our son in law has at least a decent and regular income, now that he is in the military. He has the potential of earning a lot more, since he is attending school and learning how to become a helicopter mechanic. We do hope he will be able to keep it up.

The sad thing about it is that he is so far away and does not get to see his family each day. Our youngest daughter and grandkids could have moved up there and gotten a house on base, but she did not want to do that. She may still change her mind; we will wait and see.

He could have gotten a pretty well paid job as a truck driver, but even though he had wanted to take the course, he never got around to it. If he had, he might have been a truck owner himself, have a good HVG Insurance and a profitable business.

No, he may not have been home every day either, but he sure would have been with his wife and kids on a much more regular basis then he does now. At least he loves being in the military and finding joy in a job is a true blessing!
