Counting Calories

We have started back on our low sodium diet and are forcing ourselves to be a little more physically active. No, we are not even close to considering the best workout for us, but every step in the right direction is a positive one and eventually will get us there.

The next step is counting calories, but in order to do that we have to know which amount of calories would be appropriate for each of us. Since it varies from person to person, it requires different foods, meals and/or portions.

I suppose the best way is gaining as much knowledge as possible before we start a diet. It may be a good idea to use a BMI calculator. It shows us under which category we would classify. I already found out that I was categorized under 'normal', based upon my height and weight.

Time has not permitted me yet putting the body fat calculator to good use, but I will. When we have all the needed information, we can come up with and prepare a nutritious, tasty and healthy meal. That does not take much effort; Fitclick gives lots of possibilities and options, simultaneously listing the amount of calories.

I don't think that loosing weight and finding a good work out can be made any easier!
