Happy Easter!
While I was doing some research, I read how the egg was chosen for Easter, because it represents the beginning of new life.
Very early on, the eggs were all dyed red. The red color stood for the blood of Christ.
Nowadays, green and yellow are more associated with Easter, because those are the colors of Spring which also represent the beginning of new life.
Eggs, Spring; yes, they signify new life, but the real reason for the beginning of life started long ago when Jesus died on the cross for all of us.
Happy Easter y'all; He has risen! :-)
Mark 16:6
But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.
