A New Way To Fight Chronic Pain

You may have heard about prolotherapy before, but I never had. Even though this pain relieving method has already been around since the 1940s, it had been set aside for decades and is slowly, but surely becoming more and more popular as an excellent solution in the fight against chronic pain.

People with Rheumatoid Arthritis and other Arthritis related conditions know very well what an ordeal it is to live with the constant pain. Medications may relief that somewhat, but have to be taken constantly. Cortisone and gold injections may be adequate for a little while, but they do not stimulate, strengthen and prod the body to a quicker healing of the damaged tissues.

Prolotherapy does all that and since it doesn't take that many treatments, it is a lot cheaper in the long run. However, since it is a different branch of medicine and requires a specific study, many doctors are not specialized in this therapy, but should you be interested in prolotherapy arizona would be a good place to find them.

It could be worth your while; the benefits from these injections are much greater then any of the current medications are providing and the effects are long lasting, due to the strengthening effect it has on muscle and cartilage tissue. It is definitely worth looking in to!

Wow - I have never heard of "prolotherapy" either. Thanks so much for the link. I am in Arizona, and the clinic isn't too far away (in Tempe, I'm in N.E. Phoenix). Once I am well enough (laughing), I may go ask them some questions. Truth be told, I'm very depressed. Other than raw garlic and aloe vera (both really help, but are not enough), nothing works. Not even narcotics (I get addicted to them, and they only work for a day or two and then, nothing). Thanks again. Something new, only 20 miles away. Perhaps there is hope!

David,
I am sorry to hear your RA is giving you so much problems and we will remember you in our prayers.

It may be something to look in to and if possible, to try. It would be great if it helped to easy the pain.

Thanks for the link and I will certainly look in to it as soon as I get a chance.

God's Grace.
