Change

"It is strange that while praying, we seldom ask for a change of character, but always a change of circumstances."
~Anonymous.

1 Thessalonians 5:23
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Corry - Thanks SO much for your comment this morning and for continuing to read my blog and to comment along. I've actually been reading yours all along, but am way, way behind on commenting anywhere, I'm sad to say.

Things here are just so hectic and busy and downright awful at times and it is taking all the strength God can bless me with to keep going, to try to encourage everyone around me that I can each day, beginning with my poor husband who is having to work yet again today, Saturday, since early this morning until way after I finally go to bed because I can no longer wait up for him.

Please, please pray that God will work soon in the lives of all those everywhere around us here who are hurtly so badly and who so need their Father's loving hand in their lives if they will but reach out to take it.

Thanks.

Hope you all will have a blessed weekend.

Dee

too often now, i ask God to change my attitude instead of me asking Him to change my circumstance. i know He wants me to go through it for a purpose. i always put that in mind.

Yeah it does hit home. Makes you look at yourself and see where the changes need to be made. I think that can only be for the best:-)

Excellent, Corry! I have prayed for God to change my heart attitude in that past and it is such a blessing to have my prayers confirmed by a sister in Christ. That has God's fingerprints all over it!! AMEN.

(Thank you, Corry, for keeping up with me, too :)

Thank you so much. It's good to know we are not alone in this:-)

It's so difficult to look at ourselves and make changes there, but it has to be done. Like The Scripture says:

Matthew 7:4
Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye?

And I enjoy keeping up with your blog!

God's Grace.
