Spectacular
Nothing really to share, unless you like to hear about my day, which was not that spectacular. I got a call from the doctor's office to reschedule. The doctor had been called away for urgent family business and would prolly not be back until week after next. That suited me fine for I was not really looking forward to having that pulmonary-test done today. I just pray that whatever her urgent family-business is, God may bless and be merciful.
I got a haircut and was done in 15 minutes! Wow, that was fast. No wonder, she started hacking and whacking and it ended up a little too short in my neck to my likings. But hey, the less there is, the easier to dry. I guess I am going to be a "red-neck" after all, haha.
Both Kc and I don't like going to the "leading" grocery-store and since "oldest" loves to go there, we may saddle her up with the grocery-list. So we got some necessary items at the drugstore to see us through the day. I managed to get a few things done at home that I had been putting off, for which I was grateful afterwards. Plus I got to bug some of you guys, hehe.
Actually, reflecting on all this, we have all we need and even then some. Each day we get to enjoy God's blessings, His love, each other and our loved ones. And I call that "nothing spectacular"? Let me correct that. I was granted another spectacular day! How about you?:-)

He he! That cartoon was funny!
Yes, my days have been somewhat "down" lately, but this post is encouraging. Considering all that God has done for me and is doing for me, I've had another spectacular day! Thanks.
...and I just got a phone call from Mark, so that adds to the spectacularity.
God is good.
Kristi:
What are fiends for??? (grin).
I am grateful I got to brighten up your day some:-)
Counting my blessings always helps me to put things in perspective. And, since y'all share in my downs, y'all get to share in my ups as well.
Don't know if you want to call that a blessing, haha.
Karen:

Your picture reminds me of a joke. Two older people (in their 80's) were getting married. They went into a pharmacy and asked if they carried all these medical type supplies. When they got a yes, they decided to register their wedding at the pharmacy.
Patti:
