Solid Foundation

Life has many blessing and one of them is the ability to share a good laugh. Laughter lifts the spirits and eases the pain.

I could not help it, but I found this very funny and wanted to share it with y'all. I hope you get just as much a kick out of it as I did.

An 80 year old woman was arrested for shop lifting. When she went before the judge he asked her: "What did you steal?"
She replied: "A can of peaches."

The judge then asked her why she had stolen the can of peaches and she replied that she was hungry. The judge then asked her how many peaches were in the can, to which she replied: "6."

The judge then said, "I will then give you 6 days in jail."

Before the judge could actually pronounce the punishment, the woman's husband spoke up and asked the judge if he could say something.
The judge said, "What is it?"

The husband said, "She also stole a can of peas."

The foundation of a family starts with husband and wife, or does it?. Any house and family will crumble when not built on a solid foundation. How sturdy can it be when God is not that firm foundation, that unshakable, unmovable solid rock?

Even when everything falls apart and collapses around us, we can take comfort and security in the knowledge that our ground will hold no matter what!

Psalm 31:3
For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me.
